The Chapter Innovation Grant offers up to $1,500 per year to help chapters connect with new members, appraisers, or underserved groups through innovative new activities.
Examples of eligible activities include:
- Membership campaigns
- University outreach
- Women’s Initiative (WIN) programs
- Appraiser diversity activities
- Trainee placement support activities
Chapters can submit multiple applications per year, as long as the total does not exceed $1,500.
If you have an eligible program/activity which qualifies for grant funding, we encourage you to complete the below application.
The Chapter, Region and Volunteer Relations Department will review completed applications and make funding determinations as soon as practicable.
To avoid delays in processing applications, please make sure the information is complete and accurate. You are encouraged to upload any supporting documentation with your application.
NOTE: If funding is approved, a final report on the status/outcome of the Activity/Program will be requested by the Chapter, Region and Volunteer Relations Department upon the completion of the Program and/or the exhaustion of Chapter Innovation Grant Program funds. Final reports are due within 30 days of Activity/Program.
Chapter Innovation Grants are awarded to chapters at the discretion of the Appraisal Institute. Submission of an application does not guarantee that a Chapter Innovation Grant will be awarded.
