How do I add a new chapter-developed course?

Chapter-developed courses and offerings are managed in the Chapter Portal under “Chapter Developed Offerings”.

Note: It is necessary to have a course record before you can create offerings for that course.

A new course can be added from two places: 

• From the "Chapter Courses" 

  

• From "Chapter Developed Offerings" through the "Add Chapter Developed Offerings" form

  

Steps to Add a New Course

   When adding the course description or other fields, please copy and paste from Notepad or use a tool to strip out formatting:

  NOTE: Please refrain from using red text or underlined text to ensure a consistent brand identity across the website.

3. Assign State Approvals

   NOTE: If the course is approved for both classroom and synchronous (livestream), add a row for each delivery format. The Approval code can be the same or different (depending on the state).

4. Assign Tags (Appraisal Category and Topics)

For a course to be included in filtered views in the Course Catalog, you must assign relevant tags.

NOTE: Be sure to add a row for all tags that are relevant to your course.
